The Tuatha de Danann have  the following ranks:

Ard Coyrlagh - A high advisor of the Tuatha de Danann. The voice of the Tuatha de Danann to the alliance and the rest of the realm.  The same responsibilities as the Filea as well as being responsible for promoting members to the ranks of Sidhe and Filea.

Filea - An advisor of the Tuatha de Danann. Responsible for inviting and teaching new members the ways of the Sidhe, and for ensuring that new Ridire are promptly promoted upon reaching the appropriate level of training.  Responsible for ensuring that the guild rules are followed.

Ridire - A knight of the Tuatha de Danann, strong and well-trained, able to actively participate in the wars against our foe. (ooc: full-members 20th level and higher)

Sidhe - A full member of the Tuatha de Danann who is still training in the basics of combat in order to prepare for the realm wars. (ooc: pre-20th level)

Initiate - A new member who is learning the ways of the Sidhe.

  • Promotion from Initiate to Sidhe

This promotion should occur fairly quickly (within a week or two). It will happen when an Ard Coyrlagh has met the member, spoken with them about what it is to be a Tuatha de Danann and trusts that the new member has truly found the right home for themself.

Any Initiate seeking promotion to Sidhe should first seek out a Filea and talk to them about being promoted.  If the Filea agrees that the Initiate is ready to be a member of the Sidhe then both should contact an Ard Coyrlagh to finalize the initation into the Sidhe.

The Filea should ensure that the Initiate is familiar with and is willing to adhere to all of the rules of the guild and that the Initiate is familiar with the history of the Tuatha de Danann.  The Filea should also ensure that the Initiate knows where to find the guild and alliance message boards.

The Ard Coyrlagh will be ensure that the Initiate truly wants to be in a roleplay guild and that they are not seeking a guild more interested in levels or RvR than the Tuatha de Danann.  The Ard Coyrlagh will also ensure that the Initiate is familiar with the guild rules, guild message board, alliance message board, and the history of the Tuatha de Danann.  The Ard Coyrlagh will announce the promotion to the guild.

  • Promotion from Sidhe to Ridire

This is done when a member of the Sidhe rank achieves 20th rank.

Any Sidhe seeking a promotion to Ridire need only seek out a Filea or Ard Coyrlagh.  The Filea or Ard Coyrlagh will explain the rules of using the alliance chat to the new Ridire upon promotion and announce the promotion to the alliance.

The only thing that a Ridire can do that a Sidhe cannot is to speak in alliance chat, this distinction is made because those below 20th rank will not be out fighting the enemy realms.

  • Promotion from Ridire to Filea

This is done when the Ard Coyrlagh feel that there are not enough people capable of inviting new members.  The measure for this is that there should almost always be someone about that can invite a new member.   The Ard Coyrlagh will announce the promotion to the guild.

Those chosen to be filea are persons who have been with the guild for a long time, are at least of Ridire rank, and demonstrate a strong desire to preserve the traditions of the the guild (such as the traditions of roleplaying, aiding others, and maintaining a close-knit family).  We want to ensure those who are inviting new members understand the guild's rules, customs, and traditions and can communicate them to a prospective member before inviting them.
